Unedited shot of an office building in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my HTC Desire. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
For some reason that I fail to understand, Amsterdam is covered with empty office buildings, that are not used for anything besides filling up the empty space of the best city in the world and making the skyline look uglier. Somebody clearly has waaaaaay too much money, almost every month a new office building is being erected somewhere in Amsterdam, only to be doomed to being another empty promise of an accelerating economy that will need all those hundreds of thousands of square meters of extra possibilities to house more wage slaves, slaving away for the benefit of those 1% of fat cats sitting on top of the economy pie like rotten cherries.
Once I am in charge of this planet, I will make sure that every single one of those buildings will be remodeled to allow us decent, regular 99% to live in all these pretty, shiny, glorious towers of power, because, let's be honest, unless somebody is going to create some 50 000 new jobs anytime soon, these babies will start molding away before they'll ever even get anywhere near being used for what they were intended for. Rich people, eat your freakin' heart out :D
P.s. Have you noticed how cleverly I've hidden a reference to the movie "Office Space", possibly the funniest film of the 90's, in the title? No? Damn, haha :D
