I like the Leidseplein area, it has plenty of shops, bars, cafe's and coffeeshops, there are always millions of people around, musicians, artists and street-footballers adding their own flavor to the scene, and there's always something going on, the Ajax Amsterdam Hooligans destroying it after they've won the National Championship again (I wonder what they'd do if they lost, lol ;)), the Police playing loud music to avoid public violence, the Ice-skating rink attracting families, and many other Amsterdamned activities that make this city the best place in the world to live...if you're here, have a stroll through the area, it's good for you :)
