Unedited shot of Dutch fans at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam celebrating the 1:0 win of the Dutch team against Japan yesterday. Taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
Yesterday the Dutch team beat Japan with 1:0 in the FIFA World Cup, and of course afterwards we took to the streets to celebrate, flying our favorite color, which happens to be Orange (also the color of our Royal family by the way!), that we proudly wear during any sports event and our world-famous Queensday. It really helps to create the feeling of being part of one huge, happy team, try it, it's fun and good for you :)
You can tell by her expert hand gestures that she's explaining to her friends how we could have won 3:0 instead of a meager 1:0 :)
I've made a movie of the Orange fans as well, check it out on my YouTube page :)
