I like the Allard Pierson Museum, it looks pretty and monumental, at least from the outside...living in Amsterdam means you never have to say sorry for not knowing any of those places from the inside that people come from all over the planet to see...we live here, we pay taxes to keep all these pretty things open&running for our visitors, so the last thing we want to do is to go and spend our rare spare time looking at paintings and sculptures, being in the best city in the world is like being in an open-air museum all the time anyway :)
