Slightly edited shot of a swan floating in the Amstel in Amsterdam, taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ8. No editing besides some added contrast&saturation :)
Like almost all my Swan shots, this one is of course dedicated to the Queen of Swans, Mirthe Duindam :)
It's here! The big cloud of volcanic ashes that Iceland was nice enough to cover Europe with this week has finally arrived in the best city in the world and is causing hilarious scenes in the streets, bikers crashing into each other in the thick fog, their rides exploding, killing millions of innocent bystanders, planes colliding in mid-air, tumbling down in a death-spiral onto the smitten heads of us poor Amsterdammers, birds attempting to eat tourists, bikes rusting prematurely...it's horrible! Personally I think they caused this eruption on purpose, so that we'll forget that they still owe us a couple billion euros...those wicked Vikings ;-))
Have a nice weekend!
I've also made some new black&white movies of a typical day in the best city in the world that you can enjoy on my YouTube page :)
