Reflections Of AmsterS@m - Bike Heaven

Unedited mobile phone cam shot of a tourist lady and her rented bike, reflecte in a puddle on the Dam square in Amsterdam. No Photoshop, no magic tricks, no editing at all :)

Doesn't it just look like this lucky tourist bike lady is walking right into the puffy, beautiful clouds covering the Dam square? No?! Well, I think yes, hehe. If you have ever been to the best city in the world and used a bike to get around you'll know that under the right conditions, it's a bit like flying and of course being in Amsterdam almost always feels like being close to heaven, so I guess this picture makes perfect sense, even though it looks a lot like a figment of my/your imagination, lol ;-)

P.s. Did you also have trouble sleeping in the last days/week? Lots and lots of us here in good old Adam did (the moon? the drugs? the credit crisis?), but it seems to be over now, I've slept almost through the whole last night, luckily, because I was getting really tired (pun intended!) of waking up at 4 AM and spending some hours waiting for my alarm to ring :-))

On October the 4th a new Art exhibition started at the 'ABC Treehouse' in Amsterdam, featuring 10 of my wicked puddle reflections :D

The theme is "AMS * NYC * AMS an artistic look at a 400 year affair". Exhibition and Special Events, 4 October – 29 November 2009. At the ABC Treehouse, Voetboogstraat 11, 1012XK Amsterdam (the link goes to Google Maps)

Public viewing hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Time 13h00 to 18h00. Free admission.

My photos are up for sale during the exhibition, buy them now, while you can still afford them, haha ;D
