The title of these pictures I've uploaded today sounds a bit rude, I mean, calling somebody the whore of Babylon, even if it's just a Mannequin made out of plastic, is not exactly nice, but since there is the 'Occupy Amsterdam' protest going on just around the corner of this beautiful building, where these promoters of commerce flaunt their artificial boobs and booties, to entice us to further overspend the money we don't have, on shiny, unnecessary goods (or rather bads, lol) and gadgets, that will rot in landfills for the next 7 trillion years, I think they nicely symbolize everything that those protesters came out in the streets against. So, sorry ladies, nothing personal, could have happened to anybody, but at least you make being part of Evil look nice, lol :D

Walk Into...

The Fair on the Dam square is back, it feels like they're in town every second week or so, but still, every time I see it, it makes me happy and I feel like a little boy again. One of the reasons why I'm happy about the Fair is that it always looks really nice in pictures, it's surrounded by pretty, old buildings that they nicely contrast with, plus the light is often magically beautiful. This little fella might find these pictures of himself on the Interwebs one day, and he might remember the Fair in big old Amsterdam, and the weird guy with a camera, kneeling in front of him and his parents as they walked back to the Central Station, to take the train back to their lovely little village somewhere in the Dutch countryside...walk into the light little Jedi, the Force is with you :)

No...

Last weekend the 'Occupy Amsterdam' movement started on the Beursplein in the heart of the best city in the world, right outside the Stock Exchange, of course I was there to take pictures and shoot some movies, but also to show that I care, and that I support this idea of a better life for us regular people, who don't own banks and don't get billions of tax-euros stuffed into our various body cavities by the government. To keep you calm, and to distract you from the fact that there might be a Revolution going on outside your window, here are some wicked puddle pictures, lol :D
