Even though there are the Christmas lights everywhere in the best city in the world, I'm having a bit of an issue getting into the right mood, I'm so overworked and stressed out by some of the things that have happened to me this year that I'm just not 'feelin' it yet. It doesn't help that I'll have to work on Christmas Eve, the 24th of December, and that for me this year Christmas will just be a 'regular', short weekend...but I guess I shouldn't complain too much, I'm sure it's the same or even worse for other people, so I'll try to pull myself together now and get over it, maybe next year will be better :)

Christmas...
...Time In...

Roundhouse...

This year has been a bit of a shitty year for me and large parts of it felt like a Chuck-Norris-style Roundhouse Kick to my eggy head...lots of weird, wicked and unpleasant things happened to me and I will not remember 2010 too fondly, I can tell you that much already! On the other hand, there were also lots of happy days, lots of laughter, lots of love and many other good things that make life such a cool experience, luckily :)
I will share more details with you in the weeks to come, as I wrap up this strange year, and I will hopefully also find some more time to spend with all you lovely guys&gals here on Flickr, I know I've neglected you a bit lately, and I'm really sorry about that...but this wicked Reflectah is thinking about YOU sometimes, and you should do the same for him, thank you :)

Let Them...

Amsterdam is covered with Christmas markets and the whole place is illuminated beautifully, making the best city in the world look even prettier than it already does. I'm a sucker for those lovely lights and walking around in the Downtown area these days usually leaves me in a romantic, cheery, yet somewhat sad mood. I'm not sure where that sad part is coming from, maybe it's because I often hear that old song in my head that goes a little something like this:
